New York Fashion Week - Fall 2008

Martini Toast to New York Fashion Week!

Beyonce Knowles, Giorgio Armani and Jay-Z - New York Fashion Week is the place where all Fashionistas gather with their notepads and/or stylist to identify the upcoming trends.

We are dedicating this week blog to New York's Fashion Week (Fall 2008)!

1. Just hours after celebrating the premiere of their much-anticipated show, Lipstick Jungle, Lindsay Price, Brooke Shields and Kim Raver cut the ribbon to welcome the style set back to New York City's Bryant Park for Mercedes-Benz Fall 2008 Fashion Week.
2. Christina Milian congratulated designer Max Azria backstage after his BCBG Max Azria show.
3. Kimora Lee Simmons' Baby Phat show with Tyra Banks and her man Djimon Hounsou.

5. Ashley Olsen snuck in to the Miss Sixty show with her stylist, Cristina Ehrlich.
6. Sass and Bide designers Sarah-Jane Clarke (left) and Heidi Middleton (right) welcomed Nicky Hilton to their sentimental show, dedicated to a friend who passed away from breast cancer.
7. Christina Milian, Joss Stone and Sophia Bush were front and center at Rock and Republic.
8. Minka Kelly and Christina Milian were also first in line for a look at the much-anticipated collection from Herve Leger by Max Azria.

9. Front-row regular Sophia Bush (right) greeted designer Catherine Malandrino backstage before the Malandrino fall 2008 show. By the way, this is one of our favorite designers.
10. Angie Harmon attended the Oscar de la Renta show to report on the trends for In Style.
11. Joss Stone and Mandy Moore at the Ports 1961 show in Bryant Park. Moore wore a silky minidress from the label, while Stone rocked Max Azria.
12. Nicky Hilton in a pair of Valentino boots for the Charlotte Ronson show.

14. Actresses Minka Kelly and Piper Perabo watched the collection from Peter Som . Both rocked cinched-waist dresses from the designer.
15. Grammy nominees Rihanna and Fergie at the Max Azria show.

16. Ugly Betty's Becki Newton is far from being ugly...lol...she looked lovely when she checked out the latest collection from Monique Lhuillier.
17. Longtime Narciso Rodriguez pals Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld. We love the way she rocked the hot pink long sleeves under the short sleeve black jacket!
18. A fashionable Fergie rocked her fashion week must-haves—a pair of oversized shades—to watch designer Marc Jacobs' (right) Marc by Marc Jacobs show.

19. Anne Hathaway and Eliza Dushku at Marchesa show.
20. Eva Longoria Parker rocked a glittering gold dress for the Michael Kors show.
21. Jennifer Lopez, pregnant with twins, chose a stylish royal blue dress with a jeweled neckline.
22. Designing woman Georgina Chapman (right) and Private Practice star Kate Walsh (left) at the Marchesa

23. Joy Bryant at Zac Posen show. Love this dress!
24. Carmen Electra was among the notable names who lined the front row at Rebecca Taylor.
25. Eva Longoria Parker and her stylist Robert Verdi at the Naeem Khan Fall 2008 show, where animal prints and feathers—two trends that have been making appearances in many designers' fall collections—ruled the runway.
26. Glamorous girls Liv Tyler and Ali Larter were front and center to get a glimpse of the fall collection at the Calvin Klein show. We are loving the all white fit!

26. The Project Runway Season 4 fashion show turned out to be one of the hottest tickets of the week, with show hosts Heidi Klum and Michael Kors welcoming Victoria Beckham to the front row.
28. Selma Blair was among the VIPs who sipped champagne from Moet & Chandon backstage before the Marc Jacobs show
29. Marc Jacobs provided the perfect finale to fashion week, welcoming Victoria Beckham to his fall show.

Chanel

Thanks for blogging n2 Fashion:

Yes, you have hit in on the nose....black is back. However, you may see a switch back to highlights around May/June. The fall season always tend to bring black hair back into existance...it'll last through the Spring and then fade away during the summer again.

I am personally are ROCKING black hair right now...as of 4 months and loving it!
