Colored Accessories

Martini Toast to a Splash of Color!

It's time to start shopping colors...yes, the 80s is back... Colored shoes and purses are the IT thing for this Spring. Remember, your purse and shoes do not have to match!

Who we spotted rocking this trend:

Just when you thought loud colors were out the door....Rihanna has been spotted several times with colored shoes. She is one true trendsetter that knows a good trend when she sees one. You can depend on Rihanna to rock the latest.

1) Katherine Heigl sports a yellow blouse with a deep red bag.
2) Molly Sims in a Diane von Furstenberg dress sports a bright red bag.
3) Victoria Beckham in a Marc Jacobs dress sports a bright red bag - one of her favorites - the Hermes Birkin, with deep red shoes.
4) Victoria again in Marc Jacobs top with a Chanel scarf, Hermes Birkin bag and Louboutin heels.

You should wear your shoes or purse without putting much thought into it, but to simply highlight an outfit. Think of it as a "splash of color" to brighten up your look. Below, we use Mary-Kate to show you how your bag doesn't need to match anything you're wearing. She also wears a purple and black scarf to add another splash to her decor.

As always passion4fashion is up on the blog, and again I must agree "color matters". A little splash of color will brighten up any outfit. And what better time than spring/ summer to have with color. Now Fashion Martini didn't mention is keep it under control. I'm sure they will have some "fashionista wanna be's" taken this trend to another level looking like they fell off a rainbow:)!!! So please ladies A SPLASH OF COLOR, don't drown yourselves. cheers until next week!!!

passion4fashion is so on it... I saw the colors and of course, I wore all black with this yellow scarf and this hot pink purse and I laughed my heart out but wore it anyway...in my mind, I was like Fashion Martini is the idea giver and I 'm loving it! Hey when is my girl Rhinna going to be Fashionista of the Week?
Cheers to you passion4fashion and all fellow bloggers!

@ n2fashion: Girl, I know you saw that Rihianna was the very first fashionista of the week. Remember, she had on that bad grey dress. Anyway, I like your style, you do your own thing. I like that about u. Gotta wear what I'm feeling too.

lmao @ Anonymous, Girl, I just might drown myself...lol :--).

I love what anonymous said about this one. Ladies, let's not drown ourselves okay....And for my girls that love makeup pleaaaasssse be careful with your makeup with this trend. Like don't try to match your eyeshadow to match your shoes exactly.....That's not cute. Same rule applies here, just a SPLASH of color.. TTFN

Thanks for the update anonymous, just got the Saks catalog today...the bangle look has been featured on a couple online boutiques as well...we're all for mucho fabulosity!!! Would not recommend more than 5 at a time. Also, if you're going to do mucho bangles....you don't need to do mucho necklaces! We are all for piling on jewerly but target one area at a time. Don't you love how fashion keeps reinventing itself...trends never die, they just get greater! CHEERS!
